Gnocchi With Chicken And Goat Cheese
I really like gnocchi, the tricky thing about these delicious balls is finding a matching recipe. Due to their large size, I don’t always find it easy to find a good sauce with this.
This recipe is really perfect with gnocchi, and the mushrooms and goat cheese offer a lot of flavor in this dish.
What do you need?
- 500 gr (17,6 oz) gnocchi
- 125 gr (4,4 oz) goat cheese
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 small onion, shredded
- 500 gr (17,6 oz) mushrooms, sliced
- 2 chicken fillets, cut into strips
- 200 gr (7 oz) light cream
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- Pepper and salt to taste
How to make it?
Cook the gnocchi as described on the package.
Fry the mushrooms nicely brown, add the onion and garlic when the mushrooms starting to brown.
Remove everything from the frying pan and fry the chicken strips in the same pan.
When the chicken is done, add the cooked gnocchi and fry for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the mushrooms back into the pan, as well as the cream, goat cheese and thyme.
Season with salt and pepper.
Bon Appetit!
