Penne With Pancetta And Goat Cheese
A delicious creamy dish with varied flavors that go super well together.
This is a dish that goes well in summer and winter, it’s an all year round one.
What do you need?
- 300 gr (10 oz) penne
- 150 gr (5 oz) goat cheese
- 150 gr (5 oz) peas, thawed
- 150 gr (5 oz) pancetta
- 500 ml (17 oz) of milk
- 3 cloves of garlic, pressed
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 4 tablespoons of flour
- Salt and pepper to taste.
How to make it?
Cook the penne as described on the package.
Cut the pancetta into pieces and fry it until crispy.
When the penne are ready, make a white roux in the same cooking pot. Melt the butter, add the flour and mix it with the butter until it forms a whole. Now add milk little by little. Not too much at once or you will get lumps in your sauce. You can take your cooking pot off the heat after melting your butter and then add the flour and milk. This way you don’t have to worry that it will burn.
Add the garlic to the sauce as well as the goat cheese, stir until the goat cheese is mixed completely with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
Now add the penne, peas and fried pancetta. Stir this into the sauce.
Bon Appetit!
