Pasta with pesto and shrimp

Pesto is something that is very good with bread or crackers, but when it’s used in dishes it’s just as delicious. This is a pesto pasta that you can eat warm or slightly cooled, which is definitely recommended for the summer.

What do you need?

  • 300 gr (10 oz)  Pasta
  • 250 gr (9 oz) white mushrooms, sliced
  • 450 gr (15 oz) shrimp, peeled
  • 150 gr (5 oz) basil pesto
  • 50 gr (2 oz) Parmesan
  • Pepper and salt

How to make it?

Cook the pasta as described on the package.

In a large frying pan, fry the sliced ​​mushrooms in olive oil. When these are nicely browned, remove them from the pan and set them aside.

Now fry the shrimp and season with salt and pepper.

When the pasta is cooked and drained, add the shrimp, mushrooms and pesto to the pasta and stir.

Add the Parmesan and season with salt and pepper.
