  • 1 Tablespoon of sugar

Toppings

  • 4 nori sheets
  • 1 Cucumber, in small cubes
  • 1 Avocado, cut into strips

  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar

Sweet sushi mayonnaise

  • 1.5 Tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar

How to make it?

Before cooking, rinse your sushi rice, this is best done in a very fine sieve. You continue to rinse with water until the water you see coming out, is no longer milky.

Then put the rice in a small cooking pot and add 500 ml (17 oz) of water. Bring to a boil, once it boils put the heat on a low setting and let it boil for about 10 minutes, the water should be completely gone. Remove the cooking pot from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes with a covered lid.

Mix the rice vinegar with the sugar in a bowl and pour over the rice.

Fry the Shrimp and cut the vegetables.

Take two bowls and add the ingredients for the sauces in each bowl and stir well.

Place a nori sheet on a plate and put a few spoons of rice on it. Divide the rice over the nori sheet.

Then garnish with the vegetables, scampi, fried onions and finally add one of the sauces.

Bon Appetit!

TIP: Many variations are possible, you can also leave out vegetables or use others instead. You can also replace the scampi with thin strips of fresh salmon, chicken terriaki, surimi, etc.
