Fast Mini Cinnamon Rolls
These cinnamon rolls are simply delicious and so easy to make. I’ve made these so many times and they’re gone way too quickly. The combination of the pizza dough with the sweet filling and sweet icing is delicious.
I always make two varieties with and without raisins. You can also choose to make only with sugar or all with raisins.
What do you need?
- 1 roll of pizza dough
- 50 gr (1,7 oz) butter, melted
- 60 gr (2,1 oz) cinnamon sugar or 60 g sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 50 gr (1,7 oz) raisins
Glaze
- 80 gr (2,8 oz) powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons of milk
How to make it?
Preheat the oven to 200 °C or 390°F (180 °C or 360°F hot air). Take an oven tray and cover it with baking paper.
Roll out the pizza dough and cut it vertically in half, into two roughly equal pieces.
Brush both pieces with melted butter. Divide the cinnamon sugar over both pieces.
Divide the raisins on 1 part.
Roll up both parts and cut into rounds. Place the circles with their flat side on the baking tray.
Brush the top with the remaining melted butter.
Bake the cinnamon rolls for 15 minutes or until nicely browned.
Take them out of the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
In the meantime you can make the icing. Take a bowl and combine the ingredients and stir until you have icing.
Put a little icing over each cinnamon roll.
Bon Appetit!
