Pasta With Pesto And Brussels Sprouts
This dish is a really delicious autumn dish. With the Brussels sprouts and bacon you immediately get an autumn / winter feeling.
The dish is not difficult to make at all, but it’s made in several steps.
What do you need?
- 250 gr (8,8 oz) pasta of your choice
- 800 gr (28 oz) Brussels sprouts
- 200 gr (7 oz) bacon
- 180 gr (6,3 oz) green pesto
- 100 gr (3,5 oz) Parmesan
How to make it?
Clean the Brussels sprouts and cook for about 15 minutes, until they are done. You can check this by poking them with a fork. If this goes smoothly and they feel soft inside, they are done.
Drain the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Set aside for later.
Bring water to a boil and cook the pasta as described on the package.
Cut the bacon into pieces and fry it nicely brown.
Then add the sprouts to the bacon and fry for 10 minutes, stirring regularly.
Stir the pesto into the pasta and add it to the frying pan with bacon and sprouts, stir together.
Serve with Parmesan.
Bon Appetit!
