Marzipan
Marzipan is super easy to make, you just have to be patient before you can eat it.
I chose to use water instead of egg whites. This way you can keep the marzipan much longer without fear that it will turn bad or make you sick.
What do you need?
- 250 gr (8,8 oz) almond flour
- 250 gr (8,8 oz) powdered sugar
- 5 tablespoons of water
How to make it?
In a large bowl, combine the almond flour and powdered sugar. Stir these well together.
Now add the tablespoons of water and knead with your hands. You need to get a sticky mass that sticks together nicely, but is neither too wet nor too dry.
Roll the marzipan into a cylinder shape and wrap in plastic foil . Make sure that the foil tensions nicely.
Let it rest at room temperature for at least 24 hours.
Bon Appetit!
