Banana Pudding Cream Dessert

Are you looking for an easy to make dessert, then I can definitely recommend this one. It’s a nice and creamy dessert, no special flavors. It’s an all around dessert, most people will like.

I am usually not too fond of whipped cream and often take it off an ice cream or dessert, but this perfectly in balance.

For this dessert I used digestive cookies because they are not too sweet and they go perfectly the sweet bananas and pudding. But if you prefer a slightly sweeter cookie such feel free to use them.

I chose to make this dessert with homemade pudding but it’s perfectly fine to use a store bought pudding of make it with pudding powder.

What do you need?

  • 600 gr (21 oz) pudding (I used homemade, but you can also make instant pudding)
  • 200 gr (7 oz) cream
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • 2 bananas
  • 200 gr (7 oz) cookies that easily crumble (I used digestive cookies)

How to make it?

Make whipped cream and add the icing sugar.

Crumble the cookies and cover the bottom of a glass with crumbled cookies.

Place a layer of banana slices on top of the cookies. After this add a layer of pudding on top of the bananas followed by a layer of whipped cream.

Now you repeat these steps, first a layer of cookie crumbles followed by the bananas, pudding and finish with whipped cream.   

I used a pipping bag for adding the whipped cream, this gives a more pretty look to the dessert.

Finish with a cookie crumbs on top.

TIP: You can prepare this dessert a few hours in advance and keep it in the fridge until serving.
