Egg And Ham Puff Pastry
An easy but super tasty with a breakfast or brunch. It is something different than just bacon and eggs. You can also use bacon instead of ham cubes, but this will make it a lot saltier, I wouldn’t add any extra salt if you use bacon.
What do you need?
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 200 gr (7 oz) ham cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 eggs
- ¼ teaspoon of Pepper
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of melted butter
How to make it?
Preheat the oven to 200 °C or 390 °F (180 °C or 360°F hot air). Take an oven tray and cover it with baking paper.
Cut the puff pastry into 4 squares. Place these on the oven tray.
Fry the finely chopped onion and ham cubes for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of the ham and onion cubes into the center of each piece of puff pastry.
Now push a hole in the middle of the ham cubes with a spoon.
Fold up the edges of the puff pastry so the ham cubes cannot fall out.
Now put an egg in each hole. Bruch the edges of the puff pastry with melted butter.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Bon Appetit!
