Penne With Creamy Pesto Sauce And Chicken

A super easy but delicious pasta. I have often made a variant with pesto as the basis for a sauce, but it is always a bit different and always just as tasty.

What do you need?

  • 250 gr(8,8 oz) penne
  • 300 gr (10,6 oz) chicken fillet, cut into cubes
  • 400 ml (14,1 oz) light cream
  • 135 gr (4,76 oz) basil pesto
  • 100 gr (3,5 oz) mozzarella, shredded
  • 50 gr (1,7 oz) parmesan
  • 3 cloves of garlic, cut
  • Pepper and salt to taste

How to make it?

Cook the penne as described on the package.

Fry the chicken cubes nicely brown and set them aside when they are done.

Briefly fry the garlic in a little oil in a cooking pot.

Then add the cream and bring to the boil. Add the pesto and the two cheeses.

Add the penne and chicken cubes to the sauce and toss together.

Season with salt and pepper.
