Home Made Potato Chips
Super fun to make potato chips yourself, and a great activity to do with your children. A big plus about these chips, they are a healthier snack than the once you buy in the store. Not only are they great as a snack, you can also serve them instead of fries.
What do you need?
- 1 kg (2 lb) of potatoes
- Salt
- Paprika powder
- Garlic powder
- Dried rosemary
- Olive oil
How to make it?
Preheat the oven to 360°F or 180 ° C (hot air 320°F or 160 ° C), take the baking trays out of the oven (I used two baking trays) and cover with baking paper.
Cut the potatoes into thin slices, I used an electric vegetable cutter, but you can do this perfectly by hand. If the slices are a bit thicker, they just have to be in the oven a little longer.
Divide the potato slices over your baking trays. Brush the slices with olive oil.
Now sprinkle salt over all the slices. I choose to sprinkle one baking sheet with paprika powder and the other with garlic powder. But you can put both herbs on all the slices.
To finish, sprinkle some dried rosemary over all the slices. Finally, put the oven plates in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes.
Serve with sauces of your choice, I used, mayonnaise and ketchup.

TIP: change the oven trays halfway through the baking time. This way all potato slices are baked equal.
