Smoked Salmon Pin Wheels
A deliciously fresh and easy to make appetizer. Smoked salmon is always a hit with us. Our daughter loves to eat this so a appetize with smoked salmon is often on the menu.
This is also an ideal appetizer to give before a meal, it is light and does not fill your stomach soyou cannot eat anything else.
What do you need?
- 200 gr (7 oz) smoked salmon
- 60 gr (2,12 oz) cream cheese (I used Philadelphia)
- ½ cucumber
- Optional: black sesame seeds
How to make it?
Take a cutting board and put a piece of plastic foil on it. Take it big enough so you can roll easily.
Place 3 pieces of smoked salmon side by side on the foil.
Put cream cheese in the center of the smoked salmon. It is difficult to spread out the cream cheese, so don’t take too much at once.
Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise and then again.
Now cut this piece into long thin strips and place the strips on top of the cream cheese.
Roll up the salmon with the help of the foil.
Roll the foil tightly and then let the salmon roll rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Repeat this process for a second roll.
Cut into rounds and place on a plate. If you like, you can sprinkle black sesame seeds on each roll.
Bon Appetit!
