Spicy Stir-fry Noodles With Chicken

Delicious noodles that taste just like in a Chinese restaurant. It’s also a quick dish to make. It’s ideal to make during a busy week day.

What do you need?

  • 9 oz or 250 gr Ramen noodles
  • 2 Chicken fillets, thinly sliced
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 Red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 4 Garlic cloves, pressed
  • 5 oz or 150 gr Chinese cabbage, cut into strips
  • 2 Spring onions, cut into small rings.
  • Sesame seed (optional)
  • Oil for baking

Sauce

  • 2 oz or 60 ml low sodium soya sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 2 Tbsp Sriracha sauce (hot chili sauce)

How to make it?

Cook the noodles as indicated on the package.

In a small bowl, add all the ingredients for the sauce and stir well. Set aside for later use.

In a wok pan, fry the chicken in oil. Season with some pepper.

Then you add the bell pepper strips, let it fry for 2-3 minutes before you add the garlic.

Then add the Chinese cabbage and let it fry until it is cooked.

When the vegetables are ready, add the noodles and sauce. Let all this fry for a while. Finally, add the spring onions and let them fry for another 2 minutes.

Top with sesame seeds and serve.

TIP: If you do not like spicy, you can leave out the hot chili sauce and use 1 tablespoon more of the oyster sauce and honey.
