American Pancakes With Banana
These banana pancakes are a variation of the regular American pancakes. The banana in the pancakes provides a nice sweet touch. We like them because they are a wonderful change from the regular pancakes.
What do you need?
- 230 gr (8,11 oz) flour
- 2 eggs
- 16 gr (0,56 oz) baking powder
- 8 gr (0,28 oz) vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 30 gr (1,06 oz) unsalted butter, melted
- 300 ml (10,14 oz) milk, lukewarm
- 2 bananas
How to make it?
Take a mixing bowl and add all ingredients except the banana, then mix well.
Cut the bananas in half circles and stir them into the batter.
Heat a pan with a little butter and spoon the batter into the pan. I use a gravy spoon for this and can make 3 pancakes in the pan at the same time.
Bake on medium heat otherwise they will burn too quickly. When bubbles come on top of the pancake it is ready to be turned over, now it only needs to bake briefly.
Serve with powdered sugar or maple syrup.
Bon Appetit!
TIP: If you like to have nice thick fluffy pancakes, let your batter stand for 30 minutes before adding the bananas and start baking the pancakes.
