Garlic-Cheesy Bread
You absolute have to try this one, if you are a cheese lover. My two cheese lovers are absolutely crazy about this Garlic- Cheesy bread. You can easily make two smaller ones so that your cut pieces are smaller so you can serve it as a snack, appetizer or as a tapas.
What do you need?
- 250 gr (8.8 oz) pizza dough (this is half a portion of the recipe)
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 2 teaspoons of dried rosemary
- 1 ball of mozzarella, cut into cubes
- 50 gr (2 oz) grated mozzarella
- 50 gr (2 oz) grated cheese
- 20 gr (1 oz) Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 50 gr (2 oz) unsalted butter, melted
How to make it?
Knead the dried herbs through the dough before allowing the dough to rise.
Preheat the oven to 250 °C or 480°F (220 °C or 430°F hot air)
Roll out the dough into a large circle. Place the dough on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
Mix the minced garlic with the melted butter. Use a brush to brush your dough with this butter mixture.
Now cover the dough on one half with the mozzarella cubes, grated mozzarella and grated cheese.
Fold the dough so it closes, but keep an edge free so that you can fold it upwards. (see picture on the top)

Brush the top of the bread with the butter-garlic mixture and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top.
Slide in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the bread looks nicely browned.
Bon Appetit!
TIP: Use a paper towel to dry the mozzarella cubes before you put them on the dough. Mozzarella is very moist and could make your dough too wet.
