Chicken With Mushrooms Asian Style
A simple and delicious Asian dish. Tasty tender chicken pieces, fried mushrooms and a delicious Asian sauce.
What do you need?
- 2 chicken fillets, cut into strips
- 100 gr (3,5 oz) corn starch
- Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 spring onions, sliced
For the sauce
- 120 ml (4,2 oz) chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons of cooking sake
- 2 tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of corn starch
How to make it?
Take a bowl and put the corn starch in it. Roll each strip of chicken in the corn starch.
Fry the sliced mushrooms nicely brown, add the spring onions and let it fry for another 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Fry the chicken strips in the same pan with 2 tablespoons of oil.
Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
When the chicken strips are ready, add the mushrooms to the chicken strips.
Stir the sauce again and pour it over the chicken strips. Stir the sauce into the chicken strips and let it thicken.
Serve with jasmine rice.
