Cucumber Salmon Bites
Delicious cream cheese with a hint of dill, fresh cucumber and tasty smoked salmon. It just is a simple and healthy snack.
It’s an ideal summer bite, you do not have to work behind a warm stove to prepare it. What you as the chef of duty probably will appreciate when the sun has already warmed up your house.
What do you need?
- 1 cucumber
- 250 gr (9 oz) cream cheese (I used Philadelphia)
- 200 gr (7 oz) smoked salmon
- 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh dill
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to make it?
Stir the cream cheese in a bowl to make it less firm. Add the dill, pepper and salt and mix it with the cream cheese.
Transfer the cream cheese to a piping bag with a serrated nozzle.
Wash the cucumber and cut into rounds. You can leave the skin on, this looks nicer.
Place the slices on a plate or board and pipe on each slice of cream cheese.
Cut the salmon into strips, roll a strip and place on top of the cream cheese. You can put another cocktail stick in the middle so that everything stays together.
To finish you can sprinkle a little fresh dill over the snacks.
Bon Appetit!
