Fast Clotted Cream

Clotted Cream is something you typically eat with scones. The original recipe takes much more time. This is a simplified, yet very tasty version, which I came across a few years ago. So you can quickly make a delicious cream to put on the table with your scones.

What do you need?

  • 150 gr (5,3oz) crème fraîche
  • 120 gr (4,23 oz) mascarpone

How to make it?

Mix the two together. Make sure not to stir too long, the mixture will only become runnier.

Cover and keep in the fridge until ready to use.

This amount is sufficient for the scones recipe.
