5 Times Asian Favorites

I love Asian food, especially Chinese and Japanese. I also love cooking Asian recipes.

You may think it’s difficult with all the different flavors. But it’s so super easy, and once you have your basic ingredients you can cook so many of these recipes.

Many recipes have the same basic ingredients but combine them differently.

These are 5 of my favorite recipes I cooked so far.

Chicken with cashews

I personally enjoy roasted cashew nuts with Asian dishes. The sauce that comes with this dish has a slightly sweet touch but not too dominant so that you still taste the cashew nuts.

With most of my Asian chicken recipes I serve Jasmin rice, I just love the natural taste of this type of rice, It goes perfectly with the taste Asian sauces.

For this dish I also choose Jasmin rice.

Chinese Tomato Soup

I love Chinese tomato soup, with it’s nice sweet tones.

I loved eating it as a child, and it has never changed. This soup is not made with cut up pieces of omelet, but the eggs are poured in, this is called egg drop soup.

This soup really tastes like I know it from a real Chinese restaurant.

Kung Pao Chicken

A nice spicy Asian dish. This has always been one of my favorite dishes and I often order it when we go to a Chinese restaurant.

I also love it when cashew nuts are served with it, so I made it myself with these delicious nuts. But you can also leave them out if you like.

Sushi Cakes

Sushi is something I can eat every week, actually more often. That is why it is nice to have several variants of how to prepare or serve it.

This sushi pie is actually very easy to make, but I personally think it’s a great presentation. Especially if you have people over for dinner, this is ideal as a starter.

If you don’t like raw fish, you can make these cakes with Teriyaki chicken pieces or baked shrimp.

Vietnamese Spring Rolls

Easy to make spring rolls packed with vegetables, meat and noodles.

You only need to cook the noodles shortly, after this you can add all the other ingredients. You don’t need a lot of preparation before you can start making your spring rolls.

Enjoy!
